Loreta Kreeger Feeback graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a degree in Graphic Design. She worked as an artist at Hallmark Cards, Burd and Fletcher and The Federal Aviation Agency. She worked as a free-lance graphic designer while raising her two children and then began to concentrate her efforts in fine art while obtaining her masters degree in Painting from The University of Missouri of Kansas City.
She won numerous awards in both local and national competitions in pastels, oils, watercolors and sculpture. She was the founding president of the MidAmerica Pastel Society. She is a member of the Greater Kansas City Art Association and its former president. She is a signature member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society. Her pastel painting is in the book “The Best of Pastels.” She was published in “Pastel Artist International Magazine” 1st issue 1999 and had a feature article in that magazine in the Nov/Dec 2001 issue. She received an honorable Mention in the “Pastel Journal” 2007. She is also listed in “Who’s Who of American Women and “Who’s Who in America.” She is a member of Image Art Gallery located in Overland Park, Kansas. She is currently working in a variety of mediums, and also teaches art to adults.
